[Gossip] Adam 'MCA' Yauch Dies at 47

Damn. This week sucks.


“Beastie Boys” rapper MCA — real name Adam Yauch — has died. In 2009, MCA announced he was being treated for a cancerous parotid gland and a lymph node. He has since undergone surgery and radiation therapy. So far, it’s not clear if the death is related to the rapper’s battle with cancer. Russell Simmons’ website GlobalGrind.com first reported the death. We have spoken to people independently connected to the rapper who also say he is dead. Yauch co-founded Beastie Boys in 1979 with Mike D, Mix Master Mike, and Ad Roc. The group has won multiple Grammys. Yauch became a vegan at the recommendation of his Tibetan doctors. Yauch is survived by his wife and daughter. He was 47. – TMZ"

Last summer, Rick Ross, Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz remade 2pac Back to create Reebok Back. Looks like it paid off because today, Rick Ross has announced that he has officially signed an endorsement deal with Reebok. Expect an official Reebok sneaker soon. Shoutout to Mr X for this one.

[Gossip] Big Sean Talks About Ludacris Beef

Now I'm a huge Big Sean fan and a Huge Ludacris fan. When I read about the whole thing I was kind of shocked and dissapointed that Sean and/or Drake said anything at all about Luda stealing anyone's so called rhyme style. For one you don't go at your elders and for two Luda is right with the songs he put out this shit has been done for years and years. I still respect all parties and wouldn't ever disrespect any of these dudes but this is all for a lack of a better word ludacris. But I do have to say I really think he had every right to finally come out and say something back on the mixtape the way he did. [Gossip] 2pac Estate In Talks To Sell Sex Tape For $1Million

As TMZ first reported, an anti-hangover drink company called NOHO has offered to pay $1,000,000 for the rights to the unreleased song 2Pac was rapping along with in the sex tape he is in.

Now TMZ is saying that a rep for Pac’s people reached out to NOHO and the two sides are trying to work out a deal.

The only issue is that neither 2Pac’s estate or NOHO have possession of the sex tape and know what song is actually in the video. But the estate is saying that if they cannot actually determine what the song is, they do have another unreleased music that they may sell for the right price (Which I think is bullshit).
